EURA is Angle Protocol’s decentralized euro stablecoin, formerly agEUR, supported by segregated onchain collateral modules.
Angle was designed in 2021 to bring non-dollar stablecoins into decentralized finance with an overcollateralized, capital-efficient system. It launched on Ethereum that November with agEUR; the token was renamed EURA in 2024 as the protocol evolved toward its Transmuter and borrowing modules.
