TUSD is a dollar-backed stablecoin operated by Techteryx with third-party reserve attestations and multi-chain issuance.
TrueUSD launched in March 2018 under TrustToken as an early fiat-backed stablecoin built for direct minting and redemption. Ownership transferred to Techteryx in December 2020, and Techteryx assumed full management of offshore operations in July 2023 as the project expanded its multi-chain and reserve-verification infrastructure.
